Overview:
Lowes Foods is growing! We are seeking a Project Manager based in the Charlotte, NC Area.
A Project Manager is responsible for leading construction projects at Lowes Foods and Kj's Markets (Alex Lee Retail).
With a primary focus in our Triad, NC and Charlotte, NC markets, this individual will manage all construction related activities for new stores and remodels including planning, budgeting, construction management and contractor administration.

Responsibilities:
Prepares estimates for capital projects.
Reviews and updates building specifications (Administrative).
Develop a network of contractors and service providers to perform various work activities as needed, aligning all approved providers with Alex Lee and VP of Business Supprot.
Engagement of general contractors to include competitive bidding and negotiation.
Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities for all projects.
Conducts on-site inspections to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
Responsible for each project being completed on time and within the budgeted guidelines set forth in the projections or pro-forma.
Coordination, ordering and installation oversight of furniture, fixtures, and equipment for each project.
Research as needed for new construction materials, equipment or application of construction materials that lower the cost of the construction work.
Conducts final punch list to release funds for payment of contractors and maintains construction files per department manager's direction.
Coordinates all necessary activities with health department and building officials to ensure the opening of store or department is achieved.
Review refrigeration system design, making sure all specifications are cost effectively met.
Responsible for managing each capital budget for new/remodel stores--completing projects within budgetary parameters and maintaining the accountability of expenditures during the project.
Negotiates purchasing/labor contracts with refrigeration vendors and contractors.
Routinely interact with the Director of Facility Engineering to create alignment, share knowledge, and collaborate on projects.
Coordinate with projects with our Operations team to limit disruptions to hosts and guests during construction.
Review and approve exterior sign drawings to conform to the company's brand image.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction or related field, plus 3-5 years commercial industry experience.
Ability to read and understand construction documents.
Strong Problem Solving and Communication skills.
Excellent planning and time management.
Ability to work under strict deadlines.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
