We are currently seeking an experienced:
Business Office Assistant Full Time, Days
Job Description:
Maintains general petty cash and patient funds according to procedures.
Maintains all patients files in accurate, easily retrievable manner.
Vouches all invoices, per established procedure, and sends to Central Accounts Payable office for processing.
Takes patient payments and receipts money/makes deposits when necessary.
Makes family members and residents feel comfortable when discussing financial affairs.
Prepares necessary forms and materials in accordance with established procedures for admissions, dishcarges, changes in status and reviews.
Prepares outgoing mail and sorts all incoming mail and forwards mail to family members.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
High School graduate.
Computer Knowledge and experience.
Medicare and Medicaid billing knowledge helpful.
Ability to work well under pressure and cooperate well with others.
Willingness to take orders and problem solve.
Must read, know, and follow personnel, department, and Facility policies.
Valid N.
C.
Driver's license.
